We are a small and friendly local family business. Located between Launceston in Cornwall and Tavistock in Devon. We have no showrooms, staff, or big budget advertising.
Our prices include labour, and parts at trade price. No call out charge or VAT added.
We show our prices upfront - not from, but all inclusive. No hidden extras. We can afford to be cheaper due to lower overheads, but we also believe in fair pricing! See our reviews. We cover an area roughly an hour radius from our home base and get to most jobs within the same day. No call centre or salesmen, just personal reliable service from Howard and Lynne.
Howard did his apprenticeship with Cleveland Industrial Doors from 1985-88.
He then had his own Domestic Garage door Business in the North East, Norton Garage Doors - from 1988 - 2000,
We moved to Devon in 2006 and he worked as a carpenter whilst I worked at the local doctor's surgery. In 2016 we decided to launch Garage Door Repairman as a small family business, specialising in domestic up and over & sectional garage door repairs.
Soon due to his expertise, word of mouth, lower prices and great reviews we made it our full time job.
Not supplying garage doors - just repairing the old up and over ones he has had so much experience with.
We're now trusted by many estate agents, local councils and even the church, to get jobs done quickly, no hassle and fairly priced.
Most of our work is in and around Plymouth, but we also cover nearby areas in Cornwall and also Exeter.
